Re: Getting to Grips with New System
Hi and welcome to the forum, can you confirm exactly which battery model you have and how you're monitoring the discharge/charge kWh. Any screenshots would help.

Re: newbie looking to expand battery capacity
Correct, discharge to 50%, isolate battery stack and inverter and turn it all off.

Re: Different Size Batteries
No, you have to have 4 of the same. So 4x EP5 (non-heated), or alternatively you could ebay the EP5 and then get up to 4x EP11-H or 4x EP5-H.
If you were to add an EP5-H alongside your existing EP5, you would not be able to use the heating functionality because it is only enabled when all the ...

In addition to Dave's correct and accurate advice I wanted to give a fresh idea.
As you only have 2 x HV2600 and they're rare and easy to sell, why not sell them and install a brand new stack of ECS cubes? Keep the same inverter and all the wiring, just replace the batteries.

You will need your K series inverter firmware updated and the import restrictions set correctly. I show these new settings in this video.

Hello,
That model wifi module needs you to use the fox 2 app to setup not direct over the wifi like how you're trying.

Re: Datenexport
In the app you can normally export all your data as a report by going to Services at the bottom of the Fox 2 app, click on Data and then submit a data report.
If you're doing that, what isn't working or doesn't make sense to you?

Re: Inverter not exporting on grid
On the inverter you'll find the export control, make sure it's set to something like 7000 not 0 or export will be disabled.
You'll find this under Settings > 0000 > Ongrid > export control

Something is wrong with your current schdule. I would clear it, make sure you're in self use mode and try enabling agile mode again.

So you're either not scanning the correct QR code which should be the one on the datalogger normally or that serial has already been used. The serial can only be registered once. I'd check with your installer if they created you an end user account.

Grid Pressure/Push back Setting added to the K and H1-gen2
Today I've been testing the new grid meter compensation setting which allows you to set the inverter to always push back a tiny bit instead of drawing from the grid.

Re: Random battery charges
can you share a graph from https://www.foxesscloud.com/ of the charge window. What is your charge rate, it is stopping at 60% or simply can't charge past that % within the time allowed. If you increase your time window does it charge past 60%?

Random charging is normally the battery doing a maintenance up top to keep the battery warm and within the low temp cut-off.

Re: Battery not charging above 39%
I explain the charge limiting vs temp in this video which might be worth a watch.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-aX4fayVAI&ab_channel=iameccles
At those temps you'll see between 2 and 10 amps charging vs the normal 25-35amps which is a low of 0.768kW and a max of 3.84kW so a 10.3kWH battery ...

Re: Battery not charging above 39%
Hello,
I have a few questions before I can answer you with any accuracy.
1. Can you confirm the model inverter and kW size the inverter is?
2. What model battery(s) do you have?
3. It's likely cold weather limiting, if you click on Device > battery in the fox v2 app, what temp is the battery?

Re: Code 222 but SOC showing
You'll likely not see much battery activity until it gets over 5c with around 10amps of battery charge/discharge possible at around 10c.
Might be worth a watch of this video I made a few winters ago.

Re: Code 222 but SOC showing
Those errors are exactly that, your battery is too cold and is refusing to charge and your battery is below the required operating temps so is just sat waiting for the temp to increase.

Sounds like the battery is too cold to accept a charge. What temp is shown in the v2 fox app under devices > battery?
Anything low single digits and your battery will shutdown and refuse to work until it's warmer.
