Adding additional batteries
I've had a look through this forum and I have found information that I can't relate too regarding adding additional batteries.

I have the following equipment:

Fox H1-5.0-E inverter
Fox ECS2900-2 (1 x Master, 2 x Slave) 8.64kWh

The battery serial numbers start with:

608M292
608S292
608S292

My questions are:

1: Are they version 1 or version 2 and what type of connector should I be looking for?

2: If I buy additional slaves is it as simple as plug and play and has anyone added them themselves without professional installation?

3: I understand that I can't add CS4800's to the stack but can I add the ECS4800 stack to the existing system and run both stacks off the inverter?

Thanks for your help as always.

Re: Adding additional batteries
1. I'm having a hard time confirming the connector type against the guide https://theecosupermarket.co.uk/identif ... batteries/ might be worth giving eco superstore a call as they're very helpful and offer a group discount if you tell them you're from the fox group.

2. FoxESS is technically a professional installation product only but you can expand the system yourself as it's pretty easy but not that you'll have no warranty unless installed by a professional and registered. This might not be a concern of yours.

3. You cannot mix models, you just only connect a matching version of your system as the voltage is different on other models and you'll risk damaging your battery if you try to install another sized unit.
