Re: New user

There is a community made app called Energy Stats which a forum memory develops which you might want to try. Ultimately there is a small learning curve but it should be set and forget really. Any issues remaining feel free to share and we can try to help you.

Re: How to install modbus230

depends what are you trying to do with the rs485, is it for a meter or do reading data from the inverter for something like home assistant? Look at the com port pin definitions in the manual.

Re: HV2600 BMS capacity gone haywire since firmware update

I'm not sure thats correct any more. On newer firmware sensor.bmw_kwh_remaining shows the capacity and not the remaining.

Re: New Battery install

Hello and welcome to the forum.

There is a grid charge current setting that can be set to avoid overloading the grid connection. I recommend low balling the amp setting so if you're on a 100amp fuse, then set it to 50 amps so you have decent headroom left.

Re: RS485 Connections to Dual Inverters for Home Assistant

Hey, So you'll want two cables (RS485A & RS485B) terminated into the correct pins (pin 3 & 4) on the coms port PER inverter. So if done correctly, you'll have a network cable coming from each inverters com port with two wires ready to be used in future. You'll want to use a modbus to IP adapter per ...

Hmmm, that doesn't look right. I would expect to see some load even with an empty house and normally a few watts at least. Is it possible the system can tripped a circuit breaker?

Re: Hailstones & Renusol console installtion

Hey Prax99, I've had panels for over 10 years across 3 houses and even though we don't get any serious hail in the southwest UK, I've not seen any damage from it. Now if you're getting golf ball sized hail then sure expect to need to replace damaged panels every now and then but there isn't much you ...

Correct, you need to make sure the eps port is set to EPS mode not UPS mode for it to only be powered during an outage.
