The slight difference can even be down to the dc solar cable length. I bet one string has a slightly longer cable run.

With Home Assistant, you can set the discharge amps to zero, which is what I do during the summer when I want no discharge or charging and everything to come from the grid. Obvs requires Modbus and a Home Assistant device to be always on.

You can control the inverters output using modbus registers, maybe a simple script to reduce the inverter output during the peak solar day.

Figuring out which modbus register, if one exists for the export control would be the perfect solution.

I've personally found that Go and being able to be fully charged overnight and exporting all my solar generation during the day is worth more to me and it's very kind on the batteries.

Yes the HV2600 is compatible with the KH.

perfectly normal to see a tiny amount from the grid. You can ask your installer to update your firmware and then adjust the meter compensation to between -20 to -50 until you're just exporting a tiny bit.

You can really only go by the fox app as ES goes off the openapi which might have changed recently.

Compare with your utility meter to confirm which one is closer to being correct.

Try moving to the green dot with the arrow point up, wait 5mins for the inverter data to update and then try a test charge and see if if the fox system covers the load but not the car charging.
If that doesn't work move to the red dot with the arrow pointing down and retest.
