Re: Info for port back-up fox ess ac1-3.0-e

Ok, thanks your graph shows the frequency dropping to 49.92 so it’s quite likely it passed the Fac lower frequency limit set of 49.8 - the lower limit should be set to at least 49.6 as your grid frequency tolerance is -0.4hz. I would recommend you set the Fac1 lower(down) to 49.2 and then monitor th...

Re: Info for port back-up fox ess ac1-3.0-e

No I was looking for this graph, 1111.png The error your inverter shows is a frequency fault and so we need to see what the values for frequency (RFreq) were for the period where you had the alarms. From what you have said I don't think this is a problem with your Vac or 10 min Avg settings as they ...

Re: Energy Stats App failing to load data - Error message

I know Al is on at them several times a week but there's been no update yet on this, my test system is being used to benchmark the API performance which to be honest is unusable at certain times of day - the graph does however show the problems are cyclical and so if you avoid the peak times it work...

Re: Info for port back-up fox ess ac1-3.0-e

That actually looks to be a grid frequency fault it's showing (not voltage), it looks as if in the evening your frequency is drifting below the set limits - using the Foxess website can you go to the Device page and select RFreq in the drop down box of the lower graph and post that please.

Re: New WiFi provider

That suggests that the new router might not have the range the previous one did. You can try a reset on the datalogger to see if that improves things, it's fiddly to do it as you have to unscrew the collar at the top of the datalogger and then pull downwards, leave it 30 seconds and then plug it in ...

Re: G8 inverter problems

If you do have a CT clamp fitted, it’s most likely you have a cable break - and if there hasn’t been any work done near the cable run, the most likely place for it to fail is at the connector under the inverter itself - the multi core cables tend to snap inside the connector where the screw crushes ...

Re: G8 inverter problems

I don’t think it’s the emlite meter - they are pretty dumb generation meters, there must be a meter fitted somewhere else or the inverter genuinely has a fault ?.

Re: G8 inverter problems

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having continued problems - It sounds as if the inverter has been fitted with either a meter or CT clamp to measure the loads and it sounds as if that has a problem. If it has a CT clamp it is a small white clip on cable clamp that is usually connected at the incoming m...

Re: Bt Wi-Fi connection!

You don't want airplane mode on as that shuts down all your wireless transmissions. On your phone make sure you delete or forget your normal internet connection, then look in the wifi list for the ssid W-XXXXXXX - connect to this and the password is mtmt2020. Then follow the attached to connect your...

Re: Info for port back-up fox ess ac1-3.0-e

It does require some careful planning, as there are potential problems with earthing and neutral bonding when using the EPS outlet. From what you have said the €600 seems a reasonable price to me given the work, but have a read of this post as it sets out the various options https://foxesscommunity....

Re: Installer bankrupt

The easiest option is to replace your datalogger, create a new installer account and add the new datalogger serial number to it - your inverter will then show in your new installer account.

Re: KH10.5 Latest firmware version

Yes it’s the manager responsible for comms, you need 1.19 or above for the latest integration - if you get that updated you’ll have access to the new features such as force charge / discharge work modes.

Plus there are many fixes in the inverter, and maxsoc now works correctly.

The installer attended today. Winced at the voltage level. Spent no more than five minutes configuring the inverter such that it is happy at higher voltages. Now all I need is some sun! Re: help understanding app overview page

Hi, which app are you using, is it the V1 app (blue background) or the V2 app (black background) ? The data screen is a snapshot taken every 5 minutes so not a real time view, and when larger appliances turn on and off you sometimes see strange numbers (sampling errors) which will correct after the ...
