I have two KH10.5 inverters.
Does the Grid Pressure/Push back setting have to be the same on both, or is it sufficient to simply change it on the Master inverter?
Good result all the same.

I've just found this in the v2 of the web siteDave Foster wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 8:13 pm It’s not available through the inverter menu’s, only an installer level account can access this remotely.
https://www.foxesscloud.com/v2/login
Devices / Select Inverter / Device Details / Settings / BasicParameters2 / MeterCompensation
I set to -50, octopus real time app shows -30, so it's about 20W out.
great result, thanks for sharing the update.

How do I know if I have an H1 Gen1 or Gen2?
I have a H1-3.7-E now on manager version 1.78 and master version 1.63 but can’t see this new option.

If you are on those firmware versions you will have an H1 Gen 1 and sadly those settings have not yet been added, it's only on the later models (so far)
That’s annoying as presumably there is not technical reason they couldn’t enable setting this on the older inverters.Dave Foster wrote: ↑Wed Jul 16, 2025 4:34 pmIf you are on those firmware versions you will have an H1 Gen 1 and sadly those settings have not yet been added, it's only on the later models (so far)
I’ll have to wait and hope they add it.
Thanks for the reply.
Hi Will and the wider FoxESS Community,
This has been a great thread for me as a newbie to solar. There's been lots of useful info regarding pushing back on the grid, so thanks.
I've currently got a 14 to 20W draw according to my Octopus Mini device that I'm keen to push back. I've got old firmware in my KH8 (M=1.39, S=1.01, ARM=1.35). It seems as though dropping a request to Fox support seems like the path of least resistance to getting that updated. I'm also keen to set up the forced discharge of my batteries at the peak export rates which, again, needs the later firmware.
However, before updating, I see that on Will's really useful firmware spreadsheet that the latest Manager v1.45 firmware has a note saying there's issues with the charge scheduler manager. I'd like some advice/thoughts on whether I'm best off waiting for a fix in the Master v1.45, or are the issues insignificant enough not to warrant holding back on the other 2 advantages?
I'm not looking to hold anyone to account - just wanting to avoid resolving one thing and breaking something else!
Thanks,
James S.

Upgrade to v1.43 of manager and latest on slave and master and you'll be fine. Once updated you will need your installer or fox to set a negative number in the meter compensation box. I'd recommend -25 as a starting point

Actually, with Fox Cloud v2 you can set this yourself. Hmm, let's see if I can find it now...
On the web go to: https://www.foxesscloud.com/v2/login
Login with your usual Fox Cloud / App username and password.
Click on DEVICES, then on your Inverter.
Click on SETTINGS
BasicParameters2
MeterCompensation
Set what you want then click the right arrow button to the right of it
