Re: Physical connection to the Inverter

The connector that is already there will likely have your CT clamp connected to it. It is easy to dismantle and add your cabling to the screw terminals for Pins 3 and 4 for RS485 so no need to solder or hack anything at all.

Re: Adding Slaves To Cube.

I've had a Fox H1-3.7 Inverter and 12.09kWh Cube battery for a few months now and am delighted with how it is performing. I decided to add a little more battery capacity as there isn't quite enough with 12kWh to load shift all our usage onto cheap overnight rates. So I ordered the ECS4100 slave ...

Re: Bms Ext Fault

Sorry for the delay in replying I've been laid up in hospital.

I've changed the polling to 15 seconds or longer and still get the occassional errors. Has anyone else heard of this?

Bms Ext Fault

Good evening all I'm puzzled by a recently occurring fault - now I think this has only started since my HA modbus connection using ethernet. Could this be related? I'm using the standard HA settings so the quickest polling is 5 seconds (which I don't think it too unreasonable) - is there any way to ...

Extended Warranty Registration

Hi

Hopefully this is a simple question.

Where would I get the 'Extended Warranty Ref' when trying to complete the registration for my inverter and batteries on the Fox website?

Cheers

Re: Adding slaves to cube.

That sounds like what I was planning.

Where have you ordered from and how much if you don't mind me asking.

Re: Greetings

No, I know the cover doesn't need removing. I was suggesting a potentially better design whereby slaves are on top of the master. With the current design the heavy master has to be removed (along with cabling potentially). Then you need to put that somewhere whilst you add a slave before putting it ...

Re: Greetings

Reading the install manual it’s a simply case of lifting it into place under the master and updating the masters dip switch by one place. Should be a 30 second job. Oh yeah not worried about installing, more dodgy suppliers and inflated prices. Although I can't help but feel a design flaw here, ...

Re: Greetings

I'm looking to add another slave to mine, they appear to be in stock at ITS but a bit wary, and not cheap either lol

Re: Hi from Preston

Absolutely. I've 8 x 400w panels totaling 3.2kWp on a South facing roof feeding into a H1-3.7E inverter with the Fox Energy cube with 2 slaves so totalling 12.12kWh of storage. Whilst it's not been particularly sunny since fitted in the last month we have load shifted all our usage to Go times in ...
