I signed up with Amber and registered with smartshift 3 weeks ago and my system is still not on boarded. Amber is telling me that they are having issues with reading the SoC from Fox ESS and hence cannot on board my system. Have been waiting ever since and there is no update so far.
I have KH9.9 with 9xEQ4800.

Hi Will,
I too have installed a Fox ESS KH-10 inverter and a 42 kw EQ4800 battery system on the 10th Nov.
I have issues getting the batter/inverter to force charge from grid - it only pulls in power from 2.2kw to 4.4 kw. On a rare occasion, it pulled in 5.6 kw and even 9.8 kw for a brief moment, then it went back to 4.4 kw.
I have escalated this to a Fox technician who has tried to upload software remotely and also checked all the parameters (eg; max feed in current - which is set at 48 Amps, sufficient for 10 kw power) but the problem still persists on Day 3 of the installation.
I have signed up for GloBird which allows for free power between 11 and 2 Am and the very reason I went with Fox is the fact that they offer a 10 kW inverter, which should in theory allow me to pull 30 kwh of free power from 11 to 2 pm (10kWx3hrs).
The fox guys says he is investigating the issue (suspects low ambient temp which is BS since it is 15 deg in Melbourne and the battery is rated for 0-55 deg.C).
Does anyone else in Melbourne have the same issue with a similar installation ?
All advise would be appreciated, thanks.
