Fox Cloud 2.0 Dashboard Data and Graph Data
I have recently installed Fox ESS Hybrid Inverter and 10.36 kWh Fox Battery.

I have a couple of questions relating to the Fox Cloud 2.0 app :

1. Is there a reason that the data on the House Dashboard does not match the data on the graph ?

The house dashboard shows total PV production of 5.2KW, export to Grid of 4.72kW and Load or 0.46kW.
When I swipe to look at the graph all the figures look correct, apart from the Load Consumed, which is showing 5.07kW.

2. Is it possible to export the data to CSV / XLS ?

New user, any help or advice welcomed.
Re: Fox Cloud 2.0 Dashboard Data and Graph Data
The information shown on the house is the instantaneous data and is current power in kW i.e. you are using 0.46kW of power and if this continues as is for one hour your house load would be 0.46kWh.

The graph is showing cumulative statistics which is the kWh per item so far today (Energy) i.e. you have consumed 5.07kWh of energy.

Thank you Dave for your reply.

If the graph is showing a cumulative value for Load as you suggest, can you explain why the Load value then tapers off at the end of the day, this would suggest that my house is then Generating electricity when the sun goes down, ie a negative Load.

Do you know how the app is calculating the Load ?
Do you know if there is a way to export the data that the app is using, so that I can analyse this myself ?
Re: Fox Cloud 2.0 Dashboard Data and Graph Data
Sorry I should have said the graph page, the statistic values shown there are cumulative but the graph is power over time (i.e. your daily usage)

There is definitely something wrong with the placement of the CT clamp if the load is reading as negative, something is generating power that is making the load calculation incorrect. I can't see the time scale so not sure what time of day that is occurring, but do you have another solar system or a generator installed ?.

The app calculates load by measuring the current flow through the CT clamp, when the CT clamp current is zero the inverter knows that the amount of power being generated is the same as the load being used, likewise if it is exporting 4kW and the CT clamp is measuring 3kW it knows that the house load is 1kW.

But this can never go negative unless there is something generating power that it doesn't know about - if that is the case you fit a second CT clamp (meter2/CT2) to the generator so that it can correctly calculate load and use any exported power effectively.

The calculation is -

House Load = Grid Consumption + Inverter Output Power ('R Power') - Feedin Power + Meter2 Power

The V2 app used to let you export the raw data but this was changed to produce 'reports' which provide the summary but not the data, it's not clear if the original data export will be re-introduced.
Instead try using the new 'beta' version of their website which does allow reports and exports - you can find that here https://www.foxesscloud.com/v2/plants/plant use the same credentials to log in.
Re: Fox Cloud 2.0 Dashboard Data and Graph Data
Thanks again Dave

Yes I do have a legacy PV system, which uses a Solis inverter, this is being monitored using CT2, and appears as "Gen" in the app.

Thank you for the suggestion and link to the BETA dashboard.
