very strange. i do not have "After Discharging Cut-off" option in the app..."

app: Android 2.2.18
inverter master: 1.60 -- no red dot to suggest i can update in app
inverter manager: 1.58 -- no red dot to suggest i can update in app

KH8 if that makes any difference.

At the end it says "during 18:01-20:05, the battery discharges to your home and grid until it reaches 19% SOC, then switches to ." ie there is a big black after "switches to..."

huh, i guess that's your inverter firmware.... probably too old to support the feature

did they take out the self-update feature from the app ? i can't see the screen anymore...

I've emailed my installer to upgrade the BMS and inverter software. I am pretty sure i was able to update the inverter software through the app a few months ago. At the moment It does not say whether there is a later version available. Maybe KH8 is stuck on older software.

KH series should be able to update to master 1.70, manager 1.66 which hopefully will give you the ability to set the mode on reaching target SoC.
The user's ability to upgrade inverter firmware does seem to have been pulled at the moment although the ability to upgrade the logger remains (IIRC the user has never been able. to upgrade battery firmware)

Unfortunately my installer ghosted me for a week however i put in a request through the app this morning and the Fox team has upgraded me to Master 1.71, Manager 1.67 very efficiently. Thumbs up for the support team at fox Australia.

i can now see the "After Discharging Cut-off" option and set mine appropriately. Now if only we can get the mode scheduler to work below 10% ill be out of complaints

What inverter do you have? I have H1-5.0-E-G2-WL and android 2.2.19 but no options for a firmware update yet on my app

Fox did mine this morning! now the following versions

Master 1.57
Manager 1.43

I'm not sure on all of the changes, but as already stated by others there's now an option on what the inverter does on Forced Discharge SOC reached. There's also the same option under Forced Charge.

The selections are
Standby (Default for both, The inverter doesn't operate, but excess solar still charges batteries, hence grid is imported for home)
Self-Use
Back Up
Feed-in Priority

I've set mine to Feed-in Priority once battery discharged to 40% as that SOC still gives be a buffer for the rest of the evening, and the Feed-in still gives be the peak rates to export excess solar, rather than charging. I've tested and if the battery is already below the SOC at the start of the schedule, it goes straight into Feed-in.

Forced charge I've left at Standby, not sure if I want that or Self-Use, but I guess if set to Self-Use, it will start discharging battery to power house, reducing efficiency since it's just charged just to discharge again, where as at that period you probably want it to power from the grid.
