Install issues/advice
After signing a contract with a reputable installer 4 months ago still waiting and saying no to original terms. We live Rural in a flood prone area and need backup plus level 3 or Islanding. Location originally seems to be a problem and our meter box is separate to the house across the drive way. Existing solar is 10 year old Solar 15kw and 10 year old Fronius inverter15kw. All promised to be backed up and charged from Solar when grid is down.
Now it all seems too hard for the Company and making excuses. Also have concerns that sorting this out may not be our best option as we are always reliant on water pump for running water and are often without power for days and with floods for weeks. System promised to charge with no grid but installer says No. Any advice please.

Just copy and paste the URL into the URL bar of your browser, if I add https:// to the front the forum loads the whole page.

If they knew, then that'd be on them if you had a contract in writing, but to enforce you may need to go through a court which takes time, money and energy.
Re: Install issues/advice
Thanks evilbunny, That thread answered a lot of questions and showed the installer and company had no clue about the fox ess. Though can you or anyone clarify that for solar charging during blackout DC coupling is the only way? I was/ will be getting the H3 Smart 15kw so that should just replace my old Fronius !5kw inverter correct and then its DC coupled.
It also states in that thread that you only need CT clamps if the system is AC coupled is that correct? The company I dealt with has now refused to do the job and will refund my $1299 deposit taken 4 months wait to be told No, and only limited time to find someone else.
The main issue seems to be they wanted to link the H3 Smart15 to my old inverter for some reason and then promise it would charge when grid is down, then said the sub board inside the house doesn't have the space for CT clamps. The battery is an easy install on a 5 acre property with plenty of clearance and the cable runs from solar panels to inverter/battery and sub board are short. The meter box is 15m away though across our concrete driveway.
