I was able to schedule charging from the grid from the devices tab on the app but when I wanted to schedule it tonight, the scheduling option was no longer there.
I am new to using the app - am I missing something?
No you're not imagining things, it seems to have been removed in the latest app - can I suggest for now you use the website, or the Energy Stats app by Al Priest as that allows battery charging to be done the simple way (as well as the scheduler if you prefer)
This post refers viewtopic.php?p=13162#p13162
You can also use the scheduler to force charge the batteries, it is much more powerful than the old legacy charge periods - there is a good video here by Will that explains how to use it https://youtu.be/jhohbmt0U_w?si=kq7JfemL82McZVq7

Hi
I am new to this system, I was using the Charge from Grid under battery setting yesterday, tried to add it today and its gone. Looking at the video posted earlier is it now that case that you have to go to work mode, Mode Scheduler then add schedule and use force charge. Assume this is the same thing as before.
How do you know when fox do upgrades without you knowing and change things like this. Quite confusing for a new person

I know it’s frustrating that they change things without announcing them, the old charge periods had largely been replaced by the scheduler (the video you mention) as this is much more powerful allowing multiple charge, discharge, work mode changes etc.. each day - it’s been the direction of travel for some time but the old charge periods are still there if you use the website in quick settings, and as i’ve mentioned before the Energy Stats app written by Al Priest (a member of this group) is favoured by users for it’s consistency and simplicity.rolotwix12 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 14, 2026 5:26 pm Hi

Thank you. I am very new to all this as only had install done last week. What is the app you mention is it useful and how would I install or look at it. Does it work in conjunction with the Fox System.
Probably best for now if you go to the Fox website and use that to set your charge periods if you click here https://www.foxesscloud.com/v2/login use your normal credentials and click Quick Settings in the corner you’ll be able to change your charge periods.rolotwix12 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 14, 2026 6:30 pm Thank you. I would recommend watching the video posted a few posts back as that shows how the mode scheduler works and you will benefit from mastering that in time.
On the Energy Stats app, it’s an app written by Al Priest and works with all Fox inverters (it uses the Fox cloud via an OpenAPI), if you search on Android or IoS for ‘Energy Stats’, you can download and set it up to access your inverter - as previously said it’s used by many 1000’s of Fox users who love its simplicity (but more importantly it doesn’t keep changing!).
So with the new schedule system is it possible to set charge from grid, to set say a weekly schedule. For example set it to charge from grid on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays only. Thinking I don’t need to charge every night, but would like to make a weekly program.
In my app, there is no possibility to get to the Mode Scheduler, like described in the video - so there is no way now for me to schedule the charging of my battery. Any ideas?

No they only have daily scheduling for a 24hr period. If you want this kind of control, then you need to use Home Assistant to set this up.rolotwix12 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 14, 2026 7:00 pm So with the new schedule system is it possible to set charge from grid, to set say a weekly schedule. Cheaper and quicker would be to set a lower charging limit, or have it run each day and it will just take what charge it needs.
Use your login details here if you are struggling with the phone App

Top Right in Purple there is "Quick settings" then you will see your Mode Scheduler at the bottom
In this latest update to the Fox Cloud 2.0 app, the option "Grid Charging Time", has been removed from the Quick Settings. It would be very useful, for manually set the start and end times for battery charging, to have this option back in a more direct and immediate way, as it was before.

Thanks so under schedule charging time if I set the SoC to say 70% and say set the hours to 3 hrs. The system will only charge the batteries from the grid up to 70% and then stop. Outside of the set hours the system will revert to charging from panels
Hello,
Thank you guys for your help!
This: https://www.foxesscloud.com/v2/login worked for me.
But how could I access the mode scheduler now?

Hi
Go to work mode, then use the two little blue arrows top right. You should then see mode scheduler. Select add schedule and you should see a list which includes Force charge etc. set your charge up there.

I use the Force charge time very often so I was a little surprised that it had disappeared this week. I contacted the support team and receive the following response:
I am hoping that this is resolved very soon.
I have attached the document, which isn't ideal but can work.Hello,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is a bug in the app. It will be fixed as soon as possible. You can try to click the battery icon on the Home interface to open it.
You can refer to this document to learn how to set it up.
If you encounter any issues or have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
I am hoping that this is resolved very soon.

Just joined to thank everyone in this thread - my system was installed last week and I set up force charging and then like others, the settings all disappeared. I’ve been pulling my hair out since Saturday.
Hi we are having the same issue, fortunately for us we keep the old Fox Cloud app on our Android phones and can still use that. Have a look in store for Fox Cloud (not Fox Cloud 2)rolotwix12 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 14, 2026 5:26 pm Hi

My solar panels and Fox battery/inverter (EVO-10-5-H) were installed last week so I'm quite new to this.
I've not been able use Mode Scheduler on the Android app or on the website. My installer didn't have any success either and had to set up forced charging between 2 and 5 AM using "Grid Charging Time" on the web portal (this not being available on the app!).
Last night, knowing that today was going to be sunny, I turned off the forced charging and now, this morning, I'm unable to turn it back on for tomorrow (rain expected!). When I try to enter the times (02:00 to 05:00) into the dialogue box, they instantly disappear when I try to press "Confirm".
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

It usually means that the Scheduler is enabled and it overwrites those times with 00:00, make sure your scheduler is completely off first and try it again.london2000 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 17, 2026 10:31 am My solar panels and Fox battery/inverter (EVO-10-5-H) were installed last week so I'm quite new to this.

Thanks for the help, but the Scheduler is shown as being completely turned off.

Thank you very much, Alan. That appears to have worked! I downloaded the original FoxCloud, as you suggested. That allowed me to set the "charge from grid" times. These times are also now reflected in the web portal so I've every confidence that the battery will be back to charging in the small hours!
The Fox software leaves a lot to be desired!

Glad it worked,
I'm having issues getting my EV Charger online, I put my WiFi and password into the configuration, it's accepts but the charger is still offline.
Technology eh, who would have it

On the front screen there is a box for Work Mode - it probably says "self-use". Click on it, and then press 5he two blue arrows to change it to Mode Scheduler. Then add a schedule as above.
