After I complained to Fox that battery warmup was not working properly, my KH10 Master firmware was updated to 1.58 today (same version as Manager). It's cold tonight so I will find out later if this makes any difference! When cold, the system seems very reluctant to use solar or stored energy (even when SOC>40%) and spontaneously starts to charge the battery from grid when its temperature falls to 3°C, which I can't control. I have EP12 batteries (with heater) but would prefer not to warm from grid at an expensive time of day.
I received a partial update today. Manager went to 1.58 but master is still 1.52. Lets see what happens tomorrow.
So, here is another grumble about FoxESS software practices. My install took place in November 2025, since then there have been several botched updates, seemingly affecting both the IOS FoxCloud2.0 app and device firmware. My day job is a software product manager but I would lose it quickly if I pushed untested and obviously faulty software onto users in the way that Fox seem to find acceptable. So, last week I had KH10 Master 1.58 and the latest app (2.2) and was enjoying the promised 5 second updates. Then, an update to FoxCloud2.0 app appeared on Friday, which I applied straightaway (to version 2.2.1). I then noticed that the user firmware update capability had finally arrived for my KH10 inverter and WW data logger (already on latest firmware) but not yet for my EP12 battery. Let's give it a try I thought trustingly, and upgraded to Master 1.60 and Slave 1.02 (I have only one inverter so assume the Slave setting is not relevant for me). It took a while to complete but got there eventually without further intervention. On the plus side, the enable/disable toggles have reappeared for the Mode Scheduler having been lost with the previous app update. On the minus side, I no longer have 5 second updates on the Home screen: it's typically around 5 minutes but I have seen 7 minutes between updates and has effectively reverted to how it worked a month ago. The notification on reaching 20% SOC has also ceased to arrive. I don't know whether this was caused by the app or the firmware update (or a joint effort), partly because there appears to be no release notes available for either stream? The FOX firmware release notes webpage says that they will be updated after a "few days" but the last update was on 26 January, which is now 20 days ago, and KH Master 1.60 is absent. I can't revert after updating so will just have to hope that a fix arrives soon and doesn't break something else. Come on guys, much like the scheduler toggle the previous week, losing these functions was presumably not intentional and it's not as though it was difficult to spot. Did you do any testing at all before pushing out this update?

I have KH7, and done same as you... App update, and then FW update to same values.
Compared to you though, I still have the 5s refresh working fine.
Difference between, is I have Android and you have Apple version.
If you login to the desktop site https://www.foxesscloud.com/v2/login do you still see 5s updates there?
Good idea. I don't usually try the web interface due to all the warnings about doom and disaster if you login simultaneously from two places but I gave it a go just now (after first logging out from the app). Unlike the app, the web version doesn't explicitly say how stale the dashboard view is but it was completely static until it suddenly changed after a few minutes, a pattern which then repeated. So it seems likely that the KH10 firmware is prime suspect, unless perhaps it needs a restart to jump back on the rails. There are no alarms.
Suspect it might have crashed internally, so a reboot is a good shout for you then.
