Changes since updates
Prior to app and firmware updates O was charging the Battery and my EV at the same time at cheap rates. Since updates the Battery is not charging until EV at 100%. Any idea what settings have changed to fix?
Re: Changes since updates
Your inverter is seeing the load of the car charger and limiting its own input power.
Check your import limit settings, some have found these changed following firmware updates.
Set this based on the capacity of your incoming supply - for 240v with 80A fuse then 19,000W is a safe value.
H1-3.7-E-G2, 2xEP11-H and 6Kw solar

Re: Changes since updates
You can check your Import limits on Inverter and also your battery. Worth taking a picture or writing down your values.

I see nrb501 posted same, but now you have video to watch :)
Re: Changes since updates
You can also just make a quick picture of your Quick Settings page in your Fox Cloud 2.0 App (new version)

Find and take a picture of your Import/Export page here
Re: Changes since updates
Thanks. Prior I could also set so the EV would not drain the battery with MIN On SOC at 80 or 90% while charging both. Now this is not an option if I set to Charge at same time will it just drain the battery or charge both regardless of Battery %?
Re: Changes since updates
If you show your Import values in your Quick Settings in the App, that could solve your problem quickly.

There are bugs in some settings in the App that are reversed from what you see on your screen, that does not help us all.
Re: Changes since updates
I changed the Import Limit to 12500 but still charged EV over Battery. Together the EV and Battery prior to update was using 10000 approx and the Battery Charge rate is set at 2500. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Can you post the app settings you are using for the charge period, and also it would be helpful if you could post the graph you see when you click on ‘Total Production’ so we can see how much load is being reported.
Re: Changes since updates
Attached settings and how it was charging and second how it charges now. I had to reduce the EV charge duration so the Battery would charge regardless. But prior both would charge in parallel so could get 5 hours EV charge and Battery to 100%
Thanks

Re: Changes since updates
You either need to reboot your Inverter as it has gone a tad loopy, or you are having a FW bug perhaps that needs an update.

At 10,000 Watts of Import, now 12,500 either should have allowed the battery to charge at the same time as you had head room with your EVCP being around 7,xxx Watts.

Can you find your Inverter on this list and tell us what version you have vs what is available?

p.s. Your Force Charge end time should be 05:29, and the self-charge start at 05:30, though this is not causing the trouble.

Thanks. Will try reboot

Re: Changes since updates
I do see the FW versions are fresh, not sure when the upgrades were loaded.
It could be a good idea, if after doing the reboot on the system, that you enter the system menu and verify that all the battery current limits and inverter power limits all look sensible on the inverter screens.
Re: Changes since updates
Your force charge settings look ok, and firmware is up to date according to Fox cloud.

I can see you've set the import limit power to 12500, but you need to also check the 'import limit current' setting, I suspect that is too low.

As your inverter can see the load being presented by the EV, you would be best to set your import limit power to be no less than 13200 watts (7.2kw for EV and 6kW inverter = 13200)

You have to do that at the inverter itself, go into Settings (password=0,0,0,0), On-Grid, Export Control and first find ImportLimitPwr - set that to 13200 watts, then go into the ImportLimitCurr setting and set that to at least 60A.
Re: Changes since updates
Thanks. It was on 10A import so updated to 60A. The house has 100A.
Have updated and will try again tonight.
Re: Changes since updates
I think we have a winner, the App shows power only, but doesn't have the current limits, so you should be ok now you have adjusted values directly at the inverter.
Re: Changes since updates
Thanks for all the help. Looks like now fixed, although it did not charge battery at 3.5 kw as per settings. As attached

Additional question while I was looking at the settings On Grid, Power Likit is set at 40%. I cannot find what this refers to and is that too low?
Thanks

Re: Changes since updates
7m 10s - Power limit

This could explain also why you was not getting the full charge power of 3500 Watts maybe.
Re: Changes since updates
Power Limit effectively sets the maximum power capabilities of your inverter, in general unless it's been changed because of strict DNO requirements, it would always be set to 100%

At 40% the max power your inverter can work at will be seriously reduced - i'd recommend setting that to 100% again.

For what it's worth as you have a 100A domestic fuse you could safely increase the ImportLimitCurr to 100A and your ImportLimitPwr to (say) 20,000 to give you head room in case your EV is charging, whilst you are boiling a kettle or other such high load.

Given the low temps, the 3.5kw charge current of 3.5kWh may simply be the BMS limiting the max charge power.
