Thanks for the explanation and taking the time to reply it all makes sense now. I have left this set at zero and added the new battery everything is working and as you have said the system did recognise the new slave battery.

Hi all, I am just after peoples opinions. I have set a forced charge overnight to take advantage of the cheaper rates. Looking at the stats the inverter is charging the batteries really quickly, charging just below 5Kw taking about 1.5 hours to charge. My question is whether this will do any harm to ...

Thanks for looking this up for me. I will email fox and ask them to update everything. Seems as if there are lots of updates for them as they where only updated about three months ago.

Hi Dave Just an update I made the changes to the settings as you suggested and tested them just now and It worked okay. Just to let you know that I set them via the cloud account rather than the app. Not sure if thats what made the difference. I will test this again tonight with these settings ...

Hi Not sure if I have these details correct but the inverter says in the app version master 1.23 and version slave 1.02
bms version 1.006 and slaves 1.05
