Has anyone had pigeons nesting under the solar panels? My window cleaner advised me to keep an eye open and sure enough I’ve since seen a couple taking a closer look at the gap. Has anyone fitted the barrier that he said could be fitted to prevent this happening?

I must say it didn’t occur to me during the installation, I would have paid for it had they so advised me.

I had my solar fitted over ten years ago and it wasn't a thing then. I had never had a problem but after seeing online that it could be a problem I had fitted a protection barrier around the panels. It is basically chicken wire screwed onto the panels that prevents the birds from getting underneath the panels

I really like the look of solaskirt which is a panel that clips on. Looks so much better than chick wire. https://solaskirt.co.uk/
