41206 error received when updating the W6 datalogger from 1.08 to 1.09 on the KH7 (fully updated) via the android Foxcloud 2.0 app.
Do the datalogger firmware updates have change notes? Should I care about 1.08 vs 1.09? I use a VPP. I suspect that the recent datalogger updates will either relate to VPPs, or relate to the app firmware update functionality.
The spreadsheet says this:
11/11/2025 Datalogger W6 Firmware 1.08 Production (Latest)
I think the speadsheet is out of date, and the Fox site has also not been updated.
I can push the button on my FW upgrade and see if it succeeds, and let you know.

1st attempt failed (no error code)
2nd attempt it took Is your datalogger frozen or still responding?

Many thanks
Everything still working on 1.08 since the failed update to 1.09. I didn't try retrying it since I wanted to see if anyone had feedback, but if a retry worked for you, then it's worth trying again.
Retry succeeded - modbus updates to home assistant working, but it doesn't seem to be talking to the app now, with 1.09. Curious. Not an immediate problem but might become one. I'll check the wifi settings to make sure they weren't lost.

I lost comms too with the new version, I tried to swap WiFi networks as I have 2 available.
I set it to a new SSID, and nothing.
Rebooted system, and it came back.
The app started to get data again, so I swapped SSID's back to original one, but not sure if it needs a reboot to take it.
I did notice the 5s refresh has gone, it might come back in time.
I will leave it for a while, and do a reboot in a bit if the data stops showing.

It was a bit delayed, but the 5s refresh rates have returned
Hopefully yours catches up soon.

Similar experience on mine, I updated the wifi details on the app, it didn't seem to work the first time, but worked the second. I didn't reboot the inverter itself.
So I'm now re-connected to the app, and 5 second updates also restarted after a few minutes.
If everyone needs to reconnect the wifi, I suspect the update could be be problematic for some.

Weirdly, mine did get 5s refresh back.WyndStryke wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2026 11:39 am So I'm now re-connected to the app, and 5 second updates also restarted after a few minutes.
Checking later it was lost
Reminds me of when the cloud went out the other week, took a bit of time to stabilse afterwards.
