Hi all,
Is anyone else having issues with newly generated Agile API keys and the fox app?
I cannot seem to get it to work. The app will say "please close and reopen this page" and doesn't work. Re-installing didn't help (iOS latest version at time of writing)
On the fox cloud website when I try and enter the API key and account I get "40256-Parameter could not be parsed correctly" and again the setting won't take. I've tried the API key in other apps such as Agile Watcher recommended by Octopus and it worked. I've also tried regenerating the Agile API key to no avail. Is there something I or the installer have missed, as e are both trying to figure out what's gone wrong here.
Additionally, when I try and get agile prices from the fox website, I get the following error "
42038-Get electricity meter rates failed
It's probably how you copy/paste the information in, I did struggle first time.
I think it was adding an invisible space on end of API key, or account number.
Here is an example image of how the two inputs should look (sorry if you have tried this and had no luck)
Octopus Account Number
Then API Key

Hi
Always worth a check again but no additional spaces. Copied as is from the Octopus API key page. Oddly if i make a mistake i get an API error as expected, but the correct details gives me the error in my first post.
Installer, FoxESS Support and Octopus looking at this, just wondered if anyone else has had an issue here.

Dave Foster has made a few helpful replies today, seems there is some back end trouble (just the other day also)
Someone's min SoC % was just a mere 5 figures today, like 45431% for example.
Today on the app, I keep getting asked to complete my plant details in a loop. The entries have been fine for 9 months, but the system says they aren't. I am sure support will sort this for you fairly quickly, might even work fine tomorrow when you try again perhaps.
Best of luck

Thought I'd just post an update. On Sunday, midday, the agile API started working again and I'm getting the import prices. Not heard anything from Fox support or Octopus as to why it just started working, but my export was setup by Octopus earlier that day.
I was missing the export rates though, which resulted in 0p in the app and 5xx error on the fox cloud website, but by Tuesday this was working too.
One bug remains, if you set say 1 agile export slot and set the Minimum State of Charge to say 40% in the agile settings (so as to leave you with power after export), why does the Minimum State of Charge stay at 40% when you leave the export slot. This effectively disabled the battery, I would've thought it should set it back to whatever you set on the main battery page (20% for me). Am I doing something wrong?
