I will have 2 stacks of EQ4800 and 2 inverters H1 Gen2 5kw capacity each.
I understand that there are many settings that can be configured by user or in some cases agent/installer only.
For example, if I(my installer) set the meter compensation to negative 30 Watts in master inverter then would that automatically include slave inverter? And it won't be exporting negative 30 each from both inverters? Or do I need to set them individually?
Similarly, would slave inverter follow the settings of a master inverter in other things as well? There is not enough information around for this type of setup. There is a YouTube video on Will's channel which explains this at a simple level without going into details.
Not sure if Will would have time to read and answer any of the questions above? Or how do I tag him in this question if it is possible here on this site?
Thank you again everyone for your help. FOXESS is new in Australia and even their customer support doesn't have answers to my questions. One of them even told me that you can't connect 2 inverters in parallel which of course isn't true.
Hi,
If you're talking about the grid compensation setting, you need to set this per inverter yes.
With two K series in parallel, I find I need to set it to around -100 watts to over the 40ish watts per inverter.
