Parallel inverters and Modbus adapters
I’ve got a H1-5.0-E-G2 inverter already hooked up to a Waveshare RS485-to-ETH Modbus inverter, working well. I’m considering adding another inverter to work in parallel. As I understand it, the nathanmarlor HA integration supports multiple inverters.

I’m not too familiar with how Modbus works in practice with multiple devices. Would it just be a case of wiring the second inverter in series or parallel with the first on the same RS485 wiring, changing the Device ID of the second inverter, and configuring a second instance of the HA integration? I’d like to avoid having to buy another Waveshare gateway if possible, and the wiki guide for the device https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/RS485_TO_ETH_(B) indicates multiple devices are supported.

It also indicates a termination resistor will be required across the wires on the last slave. Anyone have any experience of whether this is needed and how to achieve it?
