Since the recent outage / date restore, I have noticed in the WebApp GUI, the ability to set the work mode by clicking on a new Inverter Icon. I’m not aware this has been possible before from the web. Good addition, although working on getting it locally accessible too. Interested in the Peak Shaving mode, not seen/heard that before?

I tried this myself today, it appears to work with the web GUI password, but I would prefer a summary explantion of all modes before I start changing things

From what I have read:

Self Use - Solar > powers the Home > Battery > Grid.
Feedin - Solar > powers the Home > Grid (none goes to battery).
Back Up - Everything goes to the battery.
Power Station - ?
Peak Shaving - mainly commercial use to reduce spikes - no use for domestic users.

As we're (partly) paying grid tax in Belgium based on our peak usage, peak shaving would be great to have (eg. start providing battery power when load is >2 KW).

Looking forward to seeing this option!
