Peak vs off peak competition (March 2025)
So, for those wondering, if you have your grid pressure setting to export slightly and avoid making silly mistakes, you can get a bill like this before solar credit, which makes it free for 9 months of the year.

:!: Nearly 2000 kWh to 14 kWh off-peak vs peak! :D

I believe the remaining 14 kWh is the electric hob as it clicks on and off so the battery has to respond. I'm going to switch it out for an inductive hob, which is more consistent. That or I just made a mistake at some point during the month.

Typical day view, keeping all use to the off-peak rate.

We managed this in April-May:

This is on a H1-5.0-E, so no grid pressure setting is available. Instead, it's just using Feed-In First from 05:30 to 20:30, force exporting from 20:30 to 23:30 and force charge between 23:30 and 05:30.

Pretty much all of that peak rate usage is from our 8kW electric shower.

I'm looking to move the batteries from the loft to the garage soon as I'm not keen on 164kg being up there long-term (6x HV25). I'm thinking a KH9 will suit us well and also allow going up to 8 HV25s aswell. We'll be in the bizarre situation at that point of having a H1, KH and F series inverter.
