I posted previously about strange data on my fox 2.0 app showing I was exporting more than generating, and load following generation. Turns out the issue was my FiT inverter not communicating with my hybrid battery/PV inverter.
Super helpfully, the fault was identified so thanks a lot. This is what was said 'In a setup like this you should have a second CT clamp wired (CT2) from the hybrid inverter and clamped around the live output of the solar only inverter - it then knows how much is being exported and it can calculate the correct load and also be able to effectively use that export'
My last question, is that is this only an app issue or will it stop my system functioning properly? For example will it impact when battery charging or discharging? This morning I saw we were pulling power from grid whilst the system was still charging a nearly full battery.
If it's an app issue then I can probably live with it, but obviously will look to get rectified if it's impacting the performance of the system.
Thanks so much
