Add a ecs4100 to ecs2900 stack?

Hi

Is it possible and safe to add a ecs4100 slave to ecs2900 stack?

They look the same just have different capacities.

I have currently a version 2 ecm2900 + ecs2900 v2 and looking to add more storage to it.

The Ecs4100 looks far better value than ecs2900.

I’ve searched the internet and had no luck finding the answer , fox don’t reply to emails. Does anyone know if this is possible and safe to do it?

I asked this question of Fox a little while back and they advised that it is not possible to mix 4100 with 2900 slaves.
