Backup Load

Hi everyone. I've tried searching online but am struggling to find any information and I'm fairly clueless about these things. We got our solar setup installed last month and all was well. We had to have our DNO install a new backboard a bit after that though and that's when the issues started. Ever since then our idle load for the house has shot up from 8w to 200w. Looking on the fox ess app, where it says "load", we click it and it breaks it down into 2 different loads - "normal load" and "backup load" (see attached). The normal load is what I would expect the load to be but the backup load has only appeared since the work on our backboard was done and is consistently pulling around 200w. I've got no idea what's causing it or where it's going to so any ideas how to get things back to how they were before would be massively appreciated. Not sure if it helps, but when or DNO reinstalled the board, they put our CT clamp the wrong way round. This has since been corrected but I'm not sure if the backup load is somehow related to how they reinstalled things? Thanks in advance

Never mind, I've realised that "backup load" refers to how much of the load is being covered by our battery. I'm still a bit confused why it's also drawing a small amount from the grid and why our idle use has gone up though. I was going to delete this post but I can't find any way of doing this as it's not yet approved but I think I've solved my own query so it can be ignored.

Hello,

EPS load has a bug in the app showing battery load as EPS load which isn't correct as EPS is a different connector on the inverter. I've reported this bug.
Secondly the standby draw from the grid is now customisable on H1-Gen2 and KH series inverters. Ask you installer to upgrade your firmware and set the meter compensation to -25 (pushing 25watts back) and adjust and monitor to get it close to zero of possible.
I made a video about this feature here:

Thank you for that. I thought that was the case with the EPS load but I'm relieved you've confirmed it. The customisable standby draw sounds like an excellent feature. I'll see if I can get my installer out to update it for me. Thanks for all your help
