Is this battery drain normal ?

We have a new system with a total of 6 ECS4300 modules and a KH7 inverter.
We are seeing a constant drain on the battery of around 0.3 - 0.35KW above the load on the house, is that to be expected ?
I know the inverter will require some power but this seems excessive.....
You can see the issue in the picture (late in the evening so no solar to confuse the issue) - but we are seeing this all day and all night....
Thanks

That appears high, but it’s not so easy to tell when you are looking at power samples that taken every 5 minutes, the best thing to look at is your daily / hourly stats - are you really seeing load at a flat 0.5kW and battery discharge at 0.83kW - or do they look more balanced when viewed over time, is your daily load approx what you expect etc...

Typically you would expect no more than 100-120 watts for conversion losses and in keeping the inverter / BMS / batteries running - often much less than that.

Thanks for replying - yes we do have a 'base' load of 0.5 - 0.6kw (partly due to a KOI pond running 24/7 !) but I was concerned about the battery discharging at around 0.3-0.35kw above this base value which seems high.

I'll try and take it up with Fox and se whet they say.....

I actually noticed the same behaviour on our system. I just got the battery today and it has been like that since the beginning.

1. Always around 200kW more drainage of the battery than the house.
2. Always around 0.03kW vom the Grid (which I asume is also due to the battery since I didnt notice this before, when running only PV where PV > Load)

Strange but maybe normal?
