Help...Summary Page - requesting Solcast configuration
I am somewhat new to FoxESS and Energy Stats App... after several months of being okay, now on the Summary tab it is no longer displaying generation numbers instead it says Solar Forecasts – visit the settings tab to configure Solcast… what is causing this and how do I get it to re-display the generation numbers?
Hi, thank you for the reply. I updated the App and the summaries did reappear except Solar Generated which is zero. On the Stats tab, all the numbers are there but again Solar is zero. I cleared the cache, rebooted the phone but no change. All numbers are there except Solar which is zero. Any further ideas really welcome.
The system was intalled in July last year the solar numbers have been available constantly until a few days ago. So something changed quite recently, maybe in the last week? Software change or bug? My inverter is Fox Ess AC1 5.0 e g2 but has been reporting the numbers successfully for last 8 months
Until recently ES estimated Solar generation based on your stats, then as Fox made actual Solar generation data available I removed the estimation in favour of the Fox data. Take a look on the stats page, if you're not seeing anything along the "Solar Energy" then this means Fox aren't reporting actual Solar stats for you.
I could consider bringing back the estimation for users to optionally use.

Hi, Thank you for the reply. This is what I see, hopefully I have attached this correctly.

Would there be a reason Fox aren't reporting actual Solar stats? Is that a limitation of my inverter model or is there something I can do to correct that?
Otherwise, bringing back the estimation would be nice, but it is easy to calculate from the other numbers provided.
Thank you for your help with this.
