New install battery question

Hi, just had a new install, 10 panels, battery and inverter. On the app, it looks like the panels are woking and providing power, and the battery is charged to 100%. But as far as I can tell, we haven’t drawn any power from the battery at all, even at night. Which makes it a bit pointless having the battery at all.

Are there any settings I should be looking at in the app, or do I need to get the installers back in?

Thanks.

Should work ok out of the box, but in the V2 app check your minsoc and battery reserve settings are both 10% and workmode is set to Self Use - if you have any charge periods set can you post a screenshot of what they are.

If you could also post an image of the screen from the V2 app that shows the house load and directions of flow (the default house image), then swipe left and post the images at the bottom of the page with the graphs for load, grid, battery solar and battery SoC

No problems, here you go. I think it is actually working ok, judging by the graph, it’s just that the house diagram page is a bit unreliable.

There’s something wrong there, most houses use a minimum of 150 watts, often much more and yours is showing 8 watts - you should see your house load going up and down as you use appliances and also explains why your battery is at 100% and is not being used as it cannot work out what the house load is.

That looks like a problem with the meter/CT either a cabling fault or if a meter it hasn’t had the current transformer set correctly - give your installer a call, they should be able to do some tests remotely.

It does go up and down with usage, but I think there’s definitely something odd happening. Right now it’s reading 0w everywhere. I’ll give them a bell on Monday.
