Hi

I am looking to force charge my battery for 3 hours during early morning to take advantage of a new Octopus tariff.

I have made the changes in the Fox app under battery settings and had a “success” response from the app.

Despite this my battery does not force

Any ideas anyone

Many thanks Kevin

I know a common issue is that there are two save buttons on the app. You need the upper button to save settings for time periods.

Otherwise, have you got both "enable force charge" and "enable charge from grid" enabled? They are worded very badly.

"enable force charge" means the system will use grid energy instead of the battery.

"enable charge from grid" is what asks the system to charge the battery.

Thanks for the reply

As per a YouTube video I do have both the “enable force charge” and “ enable charge from grid” set to on

So screen shot below

Have I got it wrong?

Thanks Kevin

The setting looks correct to force charge from the grid, if it isn’t charging at all, I would recommend you check the maximum SoC setting is 100% (this can only be done at the inverter panel).

You will need to go into Settings, 0,0,0,0(enter), Battery, and Max SoC should be 100% if not set it to that.
