Hi

I have a Fox AC1-5.0-E inverter with 6 x HV2600 v1 batteries. It was installed in July 2022. I also have a Fronius IG15 with 7 panels installed in 2010. I can monitor the PV generation via the Fronius website, but it would be much more convenient if I could see the PV generation in the FoxEXX Cloud app. I generally use the website, but sometimes use either Energy Stats or the Fox app. The manual for the inverter says "If there is another generator in the home, Meter2 or CT2 can be used to record the power generated by the generator and transmit the data to the website for monitoring". I presume I can simply connect a cable from an additional CT clamp to pins 5 and 6 in the connector, or use an unused pair in the cable to the existing CT clamp? Do I need to power off the inverter in order to make this connection or can I do so with the power on?

It's answered many times in different posts on the forum, a quick search would find them.

But yes you simply connect a twisted pair cable to Meter2/CT2 connector and clip the clamp around the output of the other generator - the inverter will disconnect the moment the connector is removed so must be powered off for safety. Once wired CT2 has to be enabled in settings.
