Hi,
EN-H1AC1-Manual-V1.1.pdf CLEARLY state CT2 can be used to 'RECORD' the power generated the generator and transmit the data to the website for monitoring.
While energy is generated, it shows on the app and web. However, it does not keep a 'record' for historical purposes. Support team state this is not available contrary to the manual.

It is just a waste of time to spend £100. Is there any alternative without wasting more money please?

If you add CT2 the website does recognise the extra generation but in my experience it makes a real mess of your statistics by then miscalculating house load, and as Fox has said it doesn't uniquely calculate or keep statistics for it (it will show the power in a graph but no meaningful data).

If you went to a bit more trouble and set up a home assistant (small micro computer) you can get much more information from the Fox cloud as the home assistant will store all the data received from all sensors so you can see power, daily/weekly/monthly statistics etc.. - this is a simple example of the energy dashboard from a home assistant connected to the Fox cloud.

Thank you so much.
I have set up Home Assistant (tryist), and it does not give the data from SolarEdge. Are you using Modbus please?
Please let me know if you have any instructions to set this up.
Kindest regards

You can get Fox data from the cloud using the OpenAPI integration, if you have your solaredge being measure by a CT2 clamp it would be included in the data retrieved https://github.com/macxq/foxess-ha or via the modbus integration here https://github.com/nathanmarlor/foxess_ ... ring-Guide

If you don't connect it via CT2 on the Fox ESS system you can get some data via the Solaredge home assistant integration https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/solaredge/ - and there are also modbus connection integrations available.
