Is there any way to change the work modes on the inverter via Home Assistant?
I am trying to see if there is a way to force charge during 'off peak' times and to force battery discharge to grid when the export tariff is high. At the moment I can see how to set force charge at certain times of the day via the FoxCloud app which is fine but I can't see any way to remotely set to discharge battery to grid at pre-set times. Is this possible?

Sadly not, the HA integrations are presently read only.
There is quite a bit of discussion about this being a requirement, so it may be possible in the future - some people have fitted switches to the CT clamp that reverse the flow which discharges batteries to the grid but it’s not recommended.

Thanks for that. Trying to find out the details of what things can do and what they can't is always a tricky thing, especially when you can't really play with them before purchase.Dave Foster wrote: Sat Feb 18, 2023 4:40 pm Sadly not, the HA integrations are presently read only.

I read all the manuals and tried to work out what was possible before the install.
Only reason for forcing export is new Octopus tariff but it's not a big deal.
Thanks again.

It'll be interesting to see how this develops, the new Octopus Flux tariff relies heavily on either solar or battery export - I believe Foxess are very aware of the requirement, it's likely this could be a big selling feature in future, so lets keep our fingers crossed they develop a force discharge option
