Hi everyone, I just had my system installed yesterday (PV, inverter and battery) and for some reason my battery is discharging over the amount I need for my house load and exporting to the grid?
Is there anyway to stop this? It's a new system so I've not done the export paperwork and I'm not getting paid for it, but it seems strange the system will draw additional power from the battery to export? I've checked the settings and I've not seen anywhere where I can affect this.
My batteries are the ECS2900 series and the inverter is the H1-5.0 inverter.

It’s normal behaviour, your looking at a snapshot of the data taken every 5 minutes and there will always be a small flow in or out of the grid - the inverter is a grid tied system and meets the load from the battery (when there is no solar) and when there is an instantaneous change it takes it a second or two to adapt and so the grid ‘fills in’.
Large appliances (kettles, toasters) and particularly induction hobs play havoc with this display when a large appliance has just switched off if the snapshot has just been taken it might look like you are exporting a few kW’s whereas it only happened for a second or two.
It’s better to look at the graph on the second page (swipe left from this page) as that will show you the daily trends.
