Hi,
Today was the day! Fox ESS system installation finished and switched on for the first time. So, needless to say I am now struggling to understand how to operate it. My first question - of many, I'm sure - is how do I configure the inverter to limit the battery charge / discharge currents to the recommended 30 amps maximum? I have the Fox ESS app, version 2 and I also have (sort of) Home Assistant. Plus of course, the inverter itself with its display panel.

So, first, can I change these settings vis the Fox app? And if yes, then how? I can't find a way to do it but that doesn't mean much.

Second, if I have to use the inverter controls, how do I do that? For information, I haven't yet received my full handover pack from the installer.

Finally, if anyone is brave enough, how do I go about changing these (and any other) settings in HA?

Thanks, Hugh

Hey,

you can only change these settings on the inverter screen or over modbus connected to home assistant. Your installer can also change these settings via their installer access over the fox cloud.

You don't technically need to worry about the charge/discharge amps as it's managed automatically by the BMS but if you want to adjust them you can by following this video.
