Eddi draining battery when triggered by drop in demand

Hello. Sorry if this has already been covered, but I can't find a solution.
I have a hybrid inverter: Model: H1-6.0-E-G2, 1 Master battery, 2 slaves in a stack. Plus Eddi and myHarvi. The CT clamp for the Eddi is on the meter connection to the grid.
So when my inverter tries to export to the grid, the Eddi will take the power instead.
I noticed that often when the Eddi starts to demand power, it does not turn off in a timely way and it can be drawing 1 kW or more of power. This often occurs when someone is cooking and the cooker suddenly reduces its demand for power. I suppose that the inverter is slow to reduce the battery output and continues to feed power causing a surplus, which the Eddi then uses. Sometimes it stops within around 30 seconds, but sometimes it seems to continue until I stop the Eddi manually.
On the myenergi website, it describes setting an 'Export margin' to improve this.

Is there an 'Export margin' setting on the inverter? Or another solution?
Many thanks.

The export margin setting is on the EDDI (or the Zappi if you have both setup) the inverter is working the way it should and when there is a large change in load it takes a second or two for it to adjust to the change which results in a small grid import or export for a fraction of a second.

If you don’t have an export margin set on the EDDI / ZAPPI it will see the small surge and switch on until it realises that there isn’t enough export 30 seconds or so later - most people set the export margin to 150watts as a starter which appears to be enough to avoid this.

Thanks for the concise reply. My Eddi seemed to continue consuming power for longer than expected when the demand from other appliances dropped.
I suppose that I need to set the Export margin from the Eddi screen (not the app), by following instructions mentioned here:

Yes that's correct - I have both Zappi and EDDI with the Zappi acting as master, when that is the case all of these advanced settings are made in the Zappi - if you only have the EDDI you will have the option shown in it's menus.
