Hi
Not sure if my first attempt at posting worked. I am not used to forums so please bear with me.
My issue is on odd occasions when the battery has not charged above 20% the following only sometimes happens:-
1. The emergency circuit ( the circuit that is maintained from the battery during grid outages) shuts down.
2. All the lights on the battery panel are on.
Pressing the reset button on the battery panel causes some clicking noises from the inverter and then restores the power to that circuit after about a minute and everything is fine.
Can anyone explain, in none too technical terms please, what is happening and why only sometimes and if there is anything I can do.
Regards,
Bob

Hello,
Welcome to the forum.
A couple questions:
1. are you completely off-grid 100% of the time
2. what inverter and battery do you have
3. what is your minsoc and minsoc on grid currently set to?

Thanks for your response.
1. When the emergency power system circuit dies there is no grid power failure at the time just the battery at about 20%. The battery can show a really low charge many times on grey days but it is only about 2-3 in a year that the emergency power circuit fails.
2. I have a Solis Hybrid 3.6kw inverter
3. I have a FoxESS LV5200 battery
4. I am not sure how to check minsoc (sorry I am not very familiar with the technical side of this)
Hope this helps.

Ok, normally the minSOC is set on the inverter. As it's a Solis it might be worth asking on the solis forum if there is one as your batteries are LV, they're just responding to what the inverter is sending to it.
