Hi all,
I have just added another ECS2900 battery module to my installation as per the VERY HELPFUL guide here! - THANK YOU SO MUCH!
everything went well and now I have 2 slaves charging all green etc... however as I restarted the system according to the guide the Wifi dongle got disconeccted from my network and is now rapidly flashing red.
I followed the guide to connect to the dongle itself and reset it to my home's wifi , using the W-ZZZZ network with mtmt2020 and then I am presented with another admin login screen for which I do not have the password!
please please pleeeeeeeeeease someone help as nobody seems to know and even online on foxess guide they say that after going to 192.168.1.1 there should be no further login but the configuration panel instead!
all I see is:
like I said it all seems to be working fine but I've lost visibility on the app (phone and PC!) as the dongle is not communicating...
I would love to see my new configuration working and feel proud of my achievement
THANK YOU!
Wifi Dongle Admin password please!!!!!

ok thats not a Fox screen, probably a router or something similar on your home network,
Make sure on the device you are using that you forget any network connection it has to your normal internet router, because the Fox datalogger doesn’t have an internet connection your device will likely be switching away from it to your local network.
Once you phone/tablet is no longer connecting to your router, it should go through the process normally and you’ll get the Fox screen when you enter 192.168.1.1

Hi Dave,
thank you for responding. I have used a friend's laptop that was never connected to my home's wifi! forgotten all saved networks and only connected to the dongle (that double checked as the network was not available when I removed the dongle ftom the inverter... )...
the laptop shows the same with a bit more imaging... I know that this doesn't look like a Fox Screen (as it is not featuring in any of their official guides either) but I swear that is what I get!!!
maybe it is their latest firmware model or something (i only installed my system last week!) ... I don't know...
It is driving me crazy! even my installer swears that he did not put a password!
cheers...
Nick

Ok that looks it could be the new smart datalogger, i’ve not seen one before try admin, admin to login
Then go to the Network configuration, and wifi configuration screen
Then go to the Network configuration, and wifi configuration screen
Thanks again
Unfortunately admin / admin
Admin/password
Admin/1234
Admin/12345
And some more do not work
Who could I contact in foxess maybe to get help?
Or maybe I can reset it completely and re register it from scratch? But do I need an installers account to do this?
Thanks
Cheers

Hi all,
very happy (and proud) to say that I RECONNECTED the Datalogger or Dongle to my WiFi this morning!
apparently the method recommended was not working for me as it was requesting for admin password to login so I could not see the config page of the module at 192.168.1.1
What did do the trick though and it did take many and I MEAN MANY tries was the process from this video that was shared to me by the official FOXESS support team!
all through the FOX cloud app (the old one not the new foxcloud2.0) initially and then reconnect from the new app 2.0 as well
all working fine now and I couldn't be happier with my system!
Thank you all for your help...
See you around!

Hi All, been having the same issue with much wailing in despair etc...
Just got WiFi network changed over and working via the below process:
- Connect to the dongle via its "W-xxxxxx" network:
- Password: mtmt2020
- Enter IP 192.168.1.1 in a browser as per other guides.
- If presented with the login page as per the OP:
- Login: admin
- Password: 12345678
This gets you into a small config area where you can setup your new SSID and password. Make sure to 'Submit' each change and give it a moment or two, it was a little slow to register the new details for me.
I found instructions for this in the attached WiFi dongle user manual. This manual can also be obtained by scanning the QR code on the REVERSE of the dongle itself. Don't ask how long I was going in circles before I thought to look on the back of the unit for more details...

Thanks for posting, yes the newest datalogger (for installs in the last 4 months) is a bit different in how you connect it and as per that manual.
I'll leave this here as Fox have released a video for this unit https://youtu.be/SsKVW6fHOCs
