Hi,
Our solar PV/battery system is being installed this week. I want to use HA to control things and I have been following Will's excellent youtube video on setting up HA with the Fox cloud and modbus. I followed the steps for adding the cloud integration - so far so good, and I get lots of stuff showing on the dashboard. No values as the inverter isn't actually installed yet.
However, it's actually the modbus integration that I want, not the cloud. I shouldn't have installed the cloud version but curiosity got the better of me!
My question is - how do I uninstall / get rid of the cloud integration? I can't find a way to do this. I have tried using the file editor to delete the code I added to configuration.yaml but that hasn't helped.

Thanks in advance,
Regards, Hugh

Hi, today is inverter connection day so I am really, really keen to get an answer to how to uninstall the cloud version of the HA Fox ESS integration. I am guessing that installing the modbus version on top of the cloud version will cause all sorts of havoc.
So, apologies for being pushy and thanks in advance.
Regards, Hugh

You can actually run both integrations side by side if you wish.

But the uninstall method should be the same as any other custom integration. Just remove the lines from the configuration, restart HA and then remove the integration from HACS to fully uninstall, followed by one more restart.

Hi, thanks for that. I have removed the lines from the configuration. What I need to know is how to remove the integration from HACS.

In the HACS section of HA search for "FoxESS Cloud".

Then click on the 3 dots on the right side, then "Remove"
