Hi, I am setting up a Waveshare RS485 to Modbus adapter to connect my KH10 inverter to Home Assistant. The inverter is not installed yet - fingers crossed, it will be by next Tuesday - so I can't test anything but I have read as much as I can about the process. My main questions at the moment are about configuring the Waveshare device. I am trying to follow Nathan Marlor's very helpful wiki on Github, https://github.com/nathanmarlor/foxess_ ... TH-%28B%29 but I am confused about what baud rate to set. I have seen several quoted values, 9600, 19200, etc so my questions are:
Can you set the RS485 baud rate in the KH10 inverter and if yes, then how to do this?
If the KH10 has a fixed baud rate what is it?
Thank you in advance and also apologies in advance as I just know there will be loads more questions as I try and get HA to work with my setup.
Regards, Hugh

You can’t set the inverters baud rate it is fixed, the waveshare should be set to 9600, N, 8, 1

See here for full settings https://github.com/nathanmarlor/foxess ... TH-%28B%29 approx half way down the page it says Now, copy these settings (obviously ignore the IP address that should be yours)

Hi, I am in the same situation. My installation will hopefully be done end of next week.
Can you give me some details on the Waveshare RS485 to Modbus adapter, model etc.
Thanks, Brian
