I am now trying to set up some alternative schedules via the v2 app but on anything I do I always get the error of “Code41541: The device failed to set the timer mode” - so I am unable to make any changes through the app
Any suggestions how I solve this

That's a new one on me, I can't even find that error number in their list of errors.
Can you try logging into the website, go to the Inverter Details Pagse, and click the small blue box next to Work Model and that will take you to the Scheduler page.
The app has had a few problems of late around schedules, I find the website usually works ok.
