T10-G3 Inverter converted into Hybrid Inverter

Hello,
i have seen in some datsheets that T10-G3 inverter can be converted into Hybrid Converter with additional components if this is true what are these components.

Following is written on the produkt page.

It's upgradeable with the addition of an AC1 battery charger and whichever battery stack you prefer between HV, ECS, EP5 etc..

There are lots of battery options there so best to approach it from what is the maximum amount of battery storage you want (remembering you'll only get 90% depth of discharge i.e. usable capacity) and then look at types of enclosure the ECS series would look fine in your kitchen, whereas HV probably more suited to the garage etc..

Hi Dave,

Thankyou for your reply i have found the datasheet for AC1, does that mean taht AC1 would be connected as Load to the T10-G3 and the batteries would be terminated on AC1? hence both T10-G3 and AC1 would be acting as Hybrid Inverter system.

Sorry just realised I should have said AC3 (3 phase)

Yes that's it, they run as independent systems and together perform as a hybrid - the T10-G3 is your solar MPPT generator and the AC3 is the charge/discharge controller and your batteries would be terminated and managed by that.

The T10-G3 would do what it does now and output as much solar as it can, with the AC3 you fit a 3 phase meter which monitors the house load and your export, and when run in self-use (normal) mode it will use export to charge the batteries and 'fill in' should the house load be more than the solar generation or when there is no solar generation.
