Hi. New system yesterday. Trying to connect to WiFi on BT.
Have switch to 2.4. 5ghz is off , auto join is off. Airplane mode on.
Any ideas to resolve asap as the system needs monitoring as right now my batteries seems to be charging from grid whilst panels are exporting to the grid ! And once my batteries are done charging they kindly send that expensive energy back to the grid !! For less !!

Thx for any guidance
Regards. Neil

You don't want airplane mode on as that shuts down all your wireless transmissions.

On your phone make sure you delete or forget your normal internet connection, then look in the wifi list for the ssid W-XXXXXXX - connect to this and the password is mtmt2020.

Then follow the attached to connect your datalogger to your wifi.

Still no luck but the inverter in its menu ( with dongle plugged in a flashing RED ) has no IP address. its all Zeros - should it not have an IP ?

Ignore the ip stuff on the inverter screen or app. just set the wifi ssid from the drop down and password. Hit save and then check in the fox app if it starts talking to the fox cloud after 5mins.

Hi Will.
I’ve asked the installer for a new dongle. I’m pretty literate with IT so im confident it’s the dongle not working.
Tried everything else.
Ie always local environment error.
No router shows ever in the 192.168.1.1 or app 1 or app 2.
2.4 ghz fixed
5 ghz off etc

Thanks for the guidance.
On another note. Any idea how I force EV at night to charge from grid or batteries or a mix for example ?

And finally. Easee EV charger is not liking voltage variance since fitting solar ! How do I stop it shutting off in day time ? Can’t charge with surplus rather than export. The solar seems to affect the grid voltage at my house !
