The 2.0 app shows battery temp and initially this seemed to match the temp shown on the cloud. For the last week or so though the app shows much lower temps i.e. 12.9 now with 24 shown on the cloud. The battery is in an insulated enclosure and a thermometer inside on top of the stack currently shows 18.7.
Does each battery have a temp sensor and am I getting the low reading from the one nearest the floor and the higher reading from the top one? There have been a few cold nights and the BMS has been giving bursts of charge overnight.

Yes Foxess have changed the battery temperature to now report the lowest cell temperature, rather than the BMS temperature which was typically 6-10C higher.
Each battery pack has a number of cells typically between 15 & 18, and a temperature probe is shared across pairs - what you are seeing is the lowest temperature probe reported from the entire pack (which is what the BMS makes decisions on), as you say it's usually the closest to the floor or wall.
