Hi, I have had installed a 5kwh hybrid battery and 5.6kwh cm290 batteries yesterday. My issue is that currently the batteries are just sending 0.008kwh to the inverter. Not taking a charge at all and the house is not drawing any power from the batteries. So sitting there, very slowly decreasing and im unable to force charge or force the house to take the battery feed.
My plan was to use is as a battery system on cheap overnight rates and if the time comes / cheap night energy ends I can easily upgrade the system in one hit.
But it appears i cant use the system like this at all and need to solar up straight away? Does anyone have the answer?
HYBRID 5.0WKH - NO SOLAR SETUP

First question is do you have a CT clamp fitted to the live tail of your meter ?, if there is no CT clamp fitted the inverter is unable to work out the house load and won't be able to do anything.
The Hybrid inverter doesn't need solar to run as a battery system, but it must have a CT clamp fitted.

Thanks Dave, ok i have managed to fix it. The engineer had not done the Start/stop menu in the settings. It was set as Stop therefore the system was in OFF mode. If ypu look on the inverter and it says off. Go to straight to the settings and change that!! Very rookie!!!
