Want to check if anyone else has noticed a high idle consumption.
I don't know about other batteries, but have seen these with both the V1 & V2.
It is not always so easy to spot when you have load and other things.
But have now come to the conclusion that it seems to be around 300 w if you have 8 batteries, also measured a stack with 4a and then it is at about 150w.
Anyone else notice this? Or know what causes it?

What inverter do you have? I have an H1 and 6 HV2600 batteries, there is a constant draw of around 120W keeping the inverter and BMS running.
OK, as said, it's basically the energy needed to keep the inverter and BMS power conversion circuits energised and ready to go (mainly the inverter). It's higher for three phase equipment.

That seems a little high, the H3 does take more than the H1.
Check your firmware versions as there was a post recently that said there was an issue with the H3 taking more power at idle that had to be corrected via firmware upgrade - i'll see if I can find it.

I've found a couple of posts towards the end of November last year that refer to the H3 using a lot of power at standby (>200W), the correction was to downgrade the firmware - As some time has elapsed since then I think it best if you raise a support ticket with your local FoxESS service and ask them to check the firmware versions in light of your high idle consumption.Dave Foster wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 4:26 pm That seems a little high, the H3 does take more than the H1.
