Hi,
Just had my batteries fitted and charged them on a 'dummy' EV tariff, last night between 2 am and 6am. All good. Is there any way that I can charge the batteries to a percentage (say 80%) so that I leave some room in them for when it's nice and sunny tomorrow, or do I just have to guess a length of charge-time?
I'm aware (I think) that I can limit the battery charge to a percentage by going into the loft and setting a value at the inverter by scrolling through the menu and doing it that way. Too much faff.
I suspect there isn't a way of doing it but any help would be great.
Thanks in advance.
If you have an installer or agent account, you can easily change this setting on the mobile and desktop app.
However, its not advised to limit charging, these are LFP cells and require a full charge regularly to 100% or you'll have some odd bms/capacity issues.
