Hello,
I have an externally mounted H1 inverter which is managing my panels etc.
At the time of install I didn't order any batteries as the planning software said we'd never generate enough electricity, however our power usage is sporadic and we're finding we are at times generating more than we are using which currently means that power is just lost.
I'm thinking about getting a Energy Cube CM2900 2.88kWh initially to see how that goes. I think I'd rather not have the batteries stored outside so wanted to see if there was a limit to the length of cable that could be used to connect the inverter to the battery. I've struggled to find any information online about this.
Thanks in advance
Andrew

Hello,
The H1 includes battery connectors in a bag in the box which can be used to make custom cable lengths. Shorter is always better for losses but I've seen DC cable go 10-15m no issues.
