Hi,
I have an H1-5.0 inverter with v2 BMS and 4 x HV2600 batteries.
I am looking to move my battery stack slightly further away from the inverter, which would require longer cables between the inverter and BMS.
The currently provided cables being 1m and 10 sqmm cores, and I need to increase to 2m length.
My calculations suggest I should increase to 16 sqmm core cable for this to minimise voltage drop.
My question is, has anybody else already tried this, and were there any issues?
Did you reuse the cable connectors, or manage to get hold of some extra connectors? If so, where from?
Thanks in advance for any info.
Alex

Fox state a maximum of 3 metre cable lengths to maintain the warranty, they specify 8 AWG (10mm) as long as you don’t exceed 3 metres 10mm cable would be fine.
One word of caution the battery connectors are unique to Foxess and are not standard MC4 (they have a groove), you usually get a spare set with the inverter so use those to extend.
