My solar system was recently installed. It is a Fox ESS H1-11.4-US inverter + G2 Hub. Currently no batteries (they will be added sometime in the near future). The issue I'm having is that every few days the inverter goes offline in the app (it is still working though, producing energy). The G2 hub and data logger remain online and I can see the solar production from the app dashboard. If I power-cycle the hub & inverter it comes back. Any ideas or suggestions?
Without batteries which provide the operational power when there is no solar, it’s likely it is going into standby - but you would expect it to recover when there is sufficient solar. Probably a good place to start is checking that you have latest firmware and upgrade them first.
Sorry, should have mentioned that the system is grid-tied and the inverter goes offline even without any grid failure occuring.
