Panels have stopped sending power to the grid

I've just checked my app and for some reason when my batteries are full my panels have stopped selling energy to the grid. When I click on the central console icon it says I'm in Self-use mode. I haven't changed any settings and it's been happily sending power to the grid for the last year so I don't know why t's suddenly changed. I can't change the mode partly because I haven't got my password at the moment but I wouldn't know what to change it to if I could. I've raised a ticket with Fox Ess three days ago but (shockingly) no-one has been in touch, because their customer service is garbage. Has there been an update done and no-one has told us?

Any advice would be massively appreciated as I'm starting to think getting the whole system was a big mistake. The output and usefulness, especially for an electric vehicle, I feel, was massively over sold. I don't feel we get anywhere near what was promised.

I'll let others with more technical knowledge comment on why your system has stopped exporting. However thinking about the second part of your post:

Assuming your installer was MCS registered, you should have had a document from them stating the approximate annual output you could expect from your system, in kWh. For instance, mine says 4,337kWh for a 5.6kWp system albeit we'll probably miss that by a little bit due to the unusually cloudy July we've had.

If you go to the front panel of your inverter you can enter the menu by pressing the up or down key (I'm assuming you have an H1 inverter here although other models will have a similar option). Then you can go to History > Inverter Yield > PV and you will see the total PV yield since the inverter was commissioned, as well as today's yield.

You suggest the system is about a year old so you should be able to compare the numbers and see how it's performing vs the estimate.
