Axle Energy - Pay you £1 per kWh
Home battery VPP (Virtual Power Plant)

I’ve signed up and it took about 1 minute.
Every month the grid has 4-6 “Events” when the system needs extra power to help balance it.
By signing up to Axle Energy you become part of a VPP and they can use your battery for 1-2 house to help top up the grid. You get an email before and after the event. Easy to opt out if you decide you don’t want to.
You need to be in a feed in tariff.
I’m with octopus and get 15p. When there are events Axle give you £1 and you still get 15p from octopus. This new system only went live at the end of last year.
When you sign up with my link you get £25 go to your Axel account.
This sounds too good to be true but it’s all legit. Do your research.

Re: Axle Energy - Pay you £1 per kWh
Hello! Just wondering how the Axle system is working for you, given you've been with them for 3 months? There are some really negative reviews out there (sumary: good idea, badly executed). Thank you!
Re: Axle Energy - Pay you £1 per kWh
I’ve had no issues. Need to check your settings after the “event” finishes as sometimes the ApZi gets confused but that’s no issue really.
I’ve made about £35-£40

Thank you! I've now signed up.

I do like the VPP principle to support grid decarbonisation
